FILM IS DEAD STUDIO

Film is Dead Studio LLC (est. 2016) started as a statement of intent. The name is deliberate: a nod to the belief that film and historical photographic processes are obsolete, and a quiet refusal of that idea. In an age of digital immediacy, he works in a process that demands patience and trust in the unseen. There is no preview — only the decision to press the shutter, and then to wait for the miracle of light and silver to reveal it's magic.

The studio acts as a mobile B&W Darkroom, wet plate portrait studio, print space and photobook publisher. ​
